Obtain a Certified Copy

While business owners may have original documentation from the state of formation, at times they are required to present certified documents evidencing that the company has been registered in the state and that it is presently recognized by the state as a viable entity. A certified copy can be true indication of a company’s formation and present status with a state.

In addition, if a company’s original documentation is lost or misplaced, it is advisable to request a certified copy from the state of formation or foreign qualification.

Further, a certified copy of your company’s formation documents may be necessary to establish a business bank account or to qualify your company to transact business in a foreign state.

Cost of Certified Copies
Quick Incorporators will obtain a certified copy of a company document for $35, plus state fees.
